1975 built XJS Pre HE genuine MANUAL transmission.
This car was subject of a £30k re build in 1986 by the then owner a Mr Paul Jolly including Kearns Richards engine producing a bench tested 425bhp. Running on upgraded brakes and suspension and 16" TWR alloys. I have testimonials from Mr Jolly regarding the build and stories regarding its development including a heritage certificate from Jaguar.
Whilst the previous custodian submitted the car for MOT it failed even though it is exempt, a wise move. The relevant failures have been corrected. The car does need recommisioning but for several reasons I have decided to move her on as I can't really drive manuals anymore due to a foot problem and loosing my storage space.

Jaguar XJS Coupe 1993 4 Speed Auto

It has a lot of documented history. Over the years it has had a lot of money spent on it. The paint work is in very good condition, with no signs of rust, that I can see. The engine starts easily and idles sweetly with good oil pressure, as shown by the photo of the dash board.
The last MOT was clean with no advisories. I am 6’ 3” tall, 72 years old and not in brilliant health! So I have reluctantly decided to sell it.

1988 Jaguar XJS “Chasseur” 5.3ltr HE V12, 3-speed Auto, 83,000 miles with FSH in Grenadier red with magnolia upholstery.
New MOT 19/08/26. 1 advisory- oil leak engine not excessive, slight drip, although it’s always had this!
Chasseur Conversion (Carried out approx. 1989-1990):
17” Wheels, Lowered suspension (Ride is 80mm from the road) new bumpers, (Porsche 911) wing mirrors, grillage, interior enhancements.
Further Improvements 1996-2003 -Sunroof, remapping of ignition, unleaded conversion, new fuel tank, embroidered carpets, head rest pillows, wooden steering wheel, stainless steel grill and stainless-steel exhaust.
History 23 service stamps till 2014, stored for 3 years then service history from then. I have owned from Dec 2017. Extensive history file with emails from past owners and receipts for works including photos. Recent works - Cavity Wax injection, underseal renewal, front suspension, new brake pads, Rear shock absorbers, new door seals & plenty more. Over £15K spent in my ownership. Air Con & Cruise control is currently not working, Small rust spot on lower RHS door panel.
Car is garaged and located in North Hampshire, it is in good condition, and would benefit from a couple of things doing to make it excellent. I have spent loads in the past 8 years of ownership with a large service history folder. Will come with a Sahara indoor car cover.

I have a 1996 Celebration Model XJS Convertible that I’d like to sell. I’ve had the car for the last 15 years and now I’m over 70 I’m just not using it. The Car has always been in Southern California and therefor is completely rust free. There is some sun damage to the bootlid, tops of the doors and front wings. No sun damage on the bonnet. The car runs perfectly and everything works correctly. Mileage 105,000

XJ-S V12 5.3 auto exhaust system
Jaguar XJ-S UK 5.3 litre HE Automatic full exhaust system, thought to be 1989. (less 1 x left rear silencer CAC2494 and rear finisher CAC6069)
This system goes from the underside of the exhaust manifolds all the way through.
The condition is amazing. It is from a low mileage car. the pipes are all genuine Jaguar and still have the Jaguar part number stickers on them !
Many of these parts are no longer available (over axle pipes for example).
It incudes the inter-pipe olives CBC4131. £500.

This is a car I have owned for twenty years and have now had it done up mechanically to sell...
Receipt of 9k for the mechanics and getting a new rear roof to get the car running properly and a MOT.
Bodywork is good but could do with a respray, interior could do with any update too but perfectly functional.
Fabulous car to drive - the turbo is amazing - Janspeed did an article on new performance on the conversion they offered to this car (I have a copy - Favourable Wind by Steve Cropley. )

For Sale £2,000 Dream Project – XJS 4.0 Auto Sports
June 1994 XJS 4.0 Auto bought for 10th (tin) wedding anniversary for wife. After divorce bought back off her with the intention of restoring. Donor car 1977 5.3 XJS Auto.
Friend of family, starting own business, repaired removing and making good rusty areas - welding using a donor car and fabricating where needed. Due to family circumstances, he was unable to complete the project, and I do not have the skills to complete the project.
Work to Do (specified by mechanic):
Paint:
Final flat & prepare body, wings, bonnet, boot lid & bumpers.
Etch prime/seal old paint from new (or take whole vehicle to bare metal).
Paint – assuming ‘Clear over Base’ to match original paint colour/codes.
