My name is Knut and new XJS member.

After dreaming a long time, I finally decided… even though design-vice I like more the pre-facelifted XJS model, than the facelifted new style “back lights & bumpers”, I will as soon as the seller get the paper work done - be proud owner of a green XJS coupe 10/93 V12 !!

It’s in quite good shape, no visual rust, but with some scratches etc. and once I´ve got the basics done, depending on cost, I plan to repair and repaint the body.

So back to the basics – could any of you recommend me a workshop that could go over the car and revise/change brakes, overhaul steering and also do the necessary engine overhaul - at a reasonable price? The car is in Spain, running and just past ITV (MOT test), nevertheless I’m looking for a Jaguar expert fix and replace old parts, pipes, cables etc. to get the car really reliable again. My idea is to cross my fingers and hope the XJS will take me to the UK or anywhere in EU were there is a good workshop :-) and leave it in a workshop and pick it up once it´s finished.
