For years I have been looking for a nice XJS convertible LHD, but in Europe they became more and more expensive. Now I bought one in the USA, Florida. A XJS Convertible 4.0 celebration in the color turquoise. Nice car, good condition and has 170,000 km on the counter.
I live in the south of the Netherlands and also have a Jaguar X300 4.0 Sovereign in the color Morocco Red I like the XJS by the length and low bodywork and the reliable AJ 16 engine.

DO be aware that a u.s.a. specification car will be "loaded" with engine related emission equipment that met their emission requirements when the car was new , more often than not this emission equipment on export cars to countries like the u.s.a. stifles and supresses "engine power " AND performance !!!! a GOOD idea would be to have that REMOVED as in the u.k. and european car markets of this period when these cars were new this additional emission equipment on a u.s.a. spec car WAS NOT required here getting rid of it helps the engine BREATHE better , and perform better the u.s.a. has STRICT emission laws cars had to be built at Coventry to conform to those emission laws we simply DONT need that in the u.k. and europe my advice would be to "get rid of it " you dont need that level of engine emmission control in the u.k. and europe on cars built during this time scale, that WAS NOT required here in the u.k. and europe at that tiime .the car will perform MUCH better without it regards
I know that and everything is already removed. Air pump, EGR, crankcase venting modification.
After more than a year my celebration changed to my wishes
