I wondered if someone could help. I am renovating the door panels of my 1989 XJS convertible. I would like to find out where I can get hold of the little metal split pins that hold the wooden ply panel to the metal work of the door assembly. I have asked lots of parts suppliers but no one has been able to help.
Hi there i need to replace the door cards in my 1989 xjs as they have turned into soggy mush in the past, and i think are beyond renovation, are there any suppliers that make them that anyone can recommend please?

Hi Ian, you might not be able to get these anymore, but there is a plastic fitting that might do.
You can get sprung plastic fixtures on Ebay ref252289326985
Alternatively Google Automotive door fixings.

Thank you very much for your advice. I suspected that might be the case.
