my car has just failed the mot on poor hand brake pressure can any one advise on adjustment, the whole rear subframe has been rebuilt about 1000 miles ago, prior owner, so assume the pads are in good condition, any help/assistance greatly received

the hand brake adjuster is under the carpet directly behind the leaver you have to prise up the tread plate from the rear (it just clips on) undoo the lower seat belt mount and lift the carpet the adjuster is easily accessed i suggest you do this with the rear wheels off the ground so you dont over adjust and cause binding
